From spotting orangutans in the jungle to admiring ancient temples, camping under the stars, and hiking through remote mountain villages, this trip offers everything for those seeking unique and thrilling experiences. Discover local traditions, trek through spectacular landscapes, and embrace the warmth and hospitality of the Nepalese people. This is your chance to uncover the true soul of Nepal!

Day 1: Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Nepal’s capital, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, visit Pashupatinath, a sacred temple where Hindus are cremated along the Bagmati River. Depending on arrival time, this may take place on Day 2.

Day 2: Kathmandu
Start the day with a walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the heart of the city. Wander through the vibrant crowds and explore several temples. Next, visit Bouddhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world, before heading to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where you’ll climb stairs to get panoramic views.

Day 3: Patan & Bhaktapur
Today we head to Patan and Bhaktapur, two historic cities in the Kathmandu Valley. These cultural gems offer the chance to explore at your own pace, visiting fascinating landmarks and experiencing local life.

Day 4: Pokhara
In the morning, travel by bus to Pokhara, a laid-back city nestled by the beautiful Fewa Lake. The 8-hour drive offers glimpses of rural Nepal, and once you arrive, you can soak up the relaxed vibe in Lakeside.

Day 5: Pokhara
Embark on an early morning hike to Sarangkot for panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna 1 (8091m). Afterwards, take a boat ride on Fewa Lake and visit the Peace Pagoda.

Day 6: Ruma Village
We head to Ruma Village, an off-the-beaten-path destination in western Nepal. A 9-hour bus ride with scenic stops introduces you to the remote Himalayan life, where you’ll meet locals and explore the village.

Day 7: Ruma Trekking
With a local guide and porters, trek into the mountains for a camping adventure. Surrounded by the mighty Himalayas, remote villages, and a starry night sky, this will be an unforgettable experience.

Day 8: Ruma Trekking
Continue your trek deeper into the mountains, reaching 3,600 meters. After a challenging day, set up camp and enjoy the stunning views.

Day 9: Ruma Village
Return to Ruma, where you’ll visit a local school and meet hundreds of students. Bring donations like sports equipment and books, spending quality time with the children.

Day 10: Pokhara
Bid farewell to Ruma and return to Pokhara for some relaxation. Enjoy the evening to unwind from your mountain adventure.

Day 11: Pokhara
On this peaceful day, take a refreshing dip in Jaljala Waterfall and participate in a meditation or singing bowl class. In the evening, visit the Movie Garden, an open-air cinema in the jungle.

Day 12: Pokhara
Visit a local farming project to learn about organic farming in Nepal. Later, enjoy a cooking class with local "Didis" (older sisters in Nepali), followed by a visit to a Buddhist monastery for a ceremony.

Day 13: Chitwan National Park
Travel by bus to Chitwan National Park in southern Nepal. The 6-hour drive brings you to this tropical region, known for its wildlife and lush landscapes.

Day 14: Chitwan National Park
Today, embark on a walking safari with two professional guides through the jungle to spot wildlife like rhinos, crocodiles, deer, and with a bit of luck, leopards and Bengal tigers.

Day 15: Chitwan National Park
Visit the NGO Stand Up 4 Elephants, which has rescued two elephants from the tourist industry. Learn about the cruel treatment these animals face and see how the organisation cares for them.

Day 16: Kathmandu
Travel back to Kathmandu by bus, a 6-hour journey, where you’ll have a farewell dinner with your group to reflect on the unforgettable experiences.

Day 17: Kathmandu
Say goodbye to the group and, for those heading home, enjoy a transfer to the airport.
